Yolanda Fay Tenzy, age 47, of Westland, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Corewell Health William Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by loved ones. Born May 14, 1977, Yolanda Tenzy graduated from Adrian High School and lived a life filled with personality, heart, and bold honesty. She was sassy, spirited, and never held back what she thought, these were qualities that made her unforgettable to everyone who had the joy of knowing her. She leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew her, especially, her beloved twin sister, Sheronda Kay, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond that words could never fully capture. Yolanda faced her medical battle with remarkable strength and resilience. She fought hard through every procedure, every setback, and every moment of uncertainty. Though her spirit stayed strong, her body could not endure the toll. She passed with peace, knowing she was deeply loved. Preceding her in death are her parents, Josephine Russell Bonney and Robert Lee Tenzy, grandparents, Pearline Williams, Calvin Lee, Lovie B and Clarence McRunnels Sr. Her aunts, Rosie Watson and Ethel LeSure-Harris, and her uncles, Dennis Lee, Clarence McRunnels Jr, Sandy Davis, Lucius McRunnels Sr and Walter Halums Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories, eighteen siblings, her devoted twin sister Sheronda Tenzy, Virginia (Gary) Bonney-Treder, Annie (Craig) Bonney Thomas, Viola Tenzy of Taylor, MI; Mary Pearl Bonney, Wess Bonney Jr., Shirley (Charles) Buie, Patrick (Dana) Bonney and Ashley Tenzy of Adrian, MI, Laura (Eddie) Green, Dorothy Bonney and Perrie Dunigan of Houston, TX, Elizabeth (Kenneth) Smith, and A.C. Warfield of Greenville, MS and Patricia Linley of Rolling Fork, MS, Ronald Williams of Shreveport, LA, Barbara Blevins and Debra Williams, Jacksonville, FL, 55 nieces and nephews, 25 Great-nieces nephews, a host of cousins and one special friend Mark Warner of Arizona. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, with a viewing 10:00am until 11:00am. Service will start at 11:00am at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N.
