
Adrian, MI – Adrian Public Schools is launching an essay contest for its students in conjunction with the City of Adrian’s bicentennial celebration, which takes place July 3rd through 6th. Winning essays will be preserved in a time capsule to be buried in Comstock Park on July 6th.
The “Adrian, Michigan’s Bicentennial Reflection” contest invites Adrian Public Schools students in grades 5 through 12 to document their personal connections to the City of Adrian, their favorite local places and traditions, current community challenges, and their vision for the city’s future.
The contest is open to Adrian Public Schools students in three divisions: Elementary Level, Springbrook Middle School, and Adrian High School. Entries must be submitted to building administrators by Monday, May 19th. Awards for winning essays will be announced at a later date.
