Greg was born on July 29, 1960, in Adrian, Michigan, the youngest son of Glenn, Sr. and Gayle (Naylor) Kiest. He attended Adrian Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1978, before going on to attend Spring Arbor College.
Early in his career, Greg spent 20 years working for Rommel Racing with the focus on ARCA or stock cars. More recently, Greg was employed at Lenawee Rec in Adrian, where it was his job to keep the lanes running smoothly as the bowling alley mechanic. He enjoyed going Up North 4-wheeling, working on cars or watching NASCAR. Greg was a loyal friend who never hesitated to help someone in need.
Greg will be missed by his brother, Glenn L. “Chip” Kiest, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Following Greg’s wishes, cremation will take place with no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America.
