Adrian, MI – The City of Adrian is accepting applications for the position of Building Official. Responsibilities include specialized inspection work in building construction, zoning, and signs to insure compliance with established standards, ordinances, codes, and regulations.
Candidates must be a certified building inspector. Registration as a building official and plan reviewer is preferred.
Considerable knowledge of laws, ordinances and codes dealing with building construction, and methods materials and techniques used in building design and construction is required.
Six years in building construction or related work is required. Applicants must have a valid Michigan driver’s license. The salary range is $69,500 to $87,200. To apply, visit adriancity.com.
