Toledo, MI – An Adrian man was arrested after he allegedly impersonated a Toledo police officer on Wednesday. Toledo Police say that on April 2nd, 58-year-old Kristopher Andrew visited Bucks Platinum, an adult entertainment club, while wearing a Toledo Police Department patch attached to his shoulder, similar to how sworn police officers wear theirs.

According to police and multiple outlets’ reporting, Andrew was also wearing, “multiple items of tactical equipment.” Specifically, he allegedly had a rifle and a handgun in his possession, as he consumed alcohol and told fellow patrons that he was a police officer.

Andrew was arrested on charges of Impersonating a Peace Officer, Illegal Possession of a Firearm in a Liquor Establishment and Using Weapons While Intoxicated. A police report said that another person was taken into custody, but their name was redacted and the nature of their involvement was not disclosed. He was arraigned at Toledo Municipal Court Thursday, where his bond was set at $20,000.

He is currently being lodged at the Lucas County Jail, and his next court date is Thursday, April 10th.
