
Norma Fidler, age 93, of rural Waldron, passed away at her home, on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at her residence, under the care of Elara Caring Hospice. She was born in Waldron on February 2, 1932, to the late Ray W. and Hazel P. Graham. On August 24, 1948, she married James Lee Fidler, and they enjoyed nearly 49 years together until James’ death on June 16, 1997. Her entire life was devoted to taking care of her family and running the family business, Fidler’s Kennels. She especially loved animals and the people she met while running the business. Norma was a hard worker and a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Surviving are her sons, Tom and Jim Fidler; grandchildren, Tim, Tyler, Tara, Mike, Joe, Chris, Andrea, Nathan, Jonathan, Amy, Jamie, and Kaila; and 26 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Michael Sr. and Terry Fidler; grandson, Michael Fidler Jr.; daughter-in-law, Sharon Fidler; and a brother, Gerald Graham.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a private burial in Waldron Cemetery at a later date.
