Adrian, MI – The Align Center for Workforce Development has announced a new partnership with the Lenawee County Veterans Coalition. As part of this collaboration, the Veterans Coalition will have office space at the Align Center, located at 440 East Church Street in Adrian.
The partnership will also provide classes and training opportunities for local veterans. The Lenawee County Veterans Coalition was created in 2022 by Marine Corps veteran and Tecumseh City Council member Austin See.
The group aims to connect veterans to resources with a focus on preventing suicides. Ron Griffith, Interim Executive Director of the Align Center for Workforce Development, looked forward to the partnership, saying, “Having the Lenawee County Veterans Coalition in the Align Center was very important to us.”
Austin See, founder of the coalition, said, “With the support from the Align Center, we can facilitate the needs of those that have served while creating a welcoming atmosphere for the families of those who have protected our nation as well.” The new center is set to open to the public early this summer.
