
Adrian, MI – Due to the recent storms and the nice weather approaching, the City of Adrian’s compost site will be open on Thursday, April 10th, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM for yard waste drop off only.
Additionally, spring yard waste collection will take place on Wednesday, April 16th and Wednesday, April 23rd. Yard waste must be placed at the curb no later than 7:00 AM on both days listed.
All yard waste shall be placed in biodegradable and/or compostable paper bags and must not weigh more than fifty pounds. Unapproved containers, including plastic bags, will not be picked up for collection.
Bundled branches and brush must be tied in bundles no longer than three feet, placed parallel with the curb, and weigh less than fifty pounds. The compost site, located off of Oakwood Avenue, will open for the season on Saturday, May 3rd.
Hours of operation are Tuesdays from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Contact Department of Public Services with questions at 517-264-4888.
