Adrian, MI – The Lenawee Historical Society has announced that their final phase of renovation to their building in Adrian is about to begin. In the March edition of their newsletter, the group announced that they have started the process of soliciting bids to repair moisture damaged paint and plaster.

They say that it is a ‘monumental undertaking’ because it will involve moving artifacts around to gain access to the walls. The museum will stay open to the public, with minimal interruption to their normal operating schedule.

The process is expected to take at least a full year, but is more than likely to take a couple of years. The process of funding the work will begin after the Historical Society has all of the estimates.
