Adrian, MI – The Associated Charities of Lenawee County estimates that they raised $24,000 at this year’s Battle of the Badges hockey game. The 11th annual event is a major fundraiser for the organization, which has the mission statement “To enhance the quality of life for Lenawee County residents by respectfully offering items generously provided by the community.”
Executive Director Delight Creech thanks the community for their support of the event. The hockey game between local fire and police departments took place Friday night, with the police winning the contest 6-4.
