Adrian Man Sentenced to 11-25 Years in Prison After Pleading Guilty to Aggravated Child Sexually Abusive Activity

Adrian, MI – An Adrian man has been sentenced to 11-25 years in prison after pleading guilty to Aggravated Child Sexually Abusive Activity in 39th Circuit Court of Lenawee.

The Adrian Police Department made the announcement on Friday that Anthony Michael Montemayor, of Adrian, was the subject of a lengthy criminal investigation after a report was received that he had been providing drugs and/or alcohol to a minor in exchange for sex. This investigation culminated in a sting-type operation in which Montemayor was taken into custody after offering drugs and alcohol in exchange for sex to an online account of a minor that was under the control of detectives.

The Adrian Police Department was assisted by the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Support Team and the Region of the Irish Hills Narcotics Office. The APD thanked staff from Parkside Family Counseling of Adrian for their assistance during this investigation and their continuing efforts to provide support to survivors of sexual assault.
