
Judy Price, a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025, at the age of 85. Leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Born on October 23, 1939, in Pontiac, Illinois. Judy’s life was a testament to resilience, devotion, and the unwavering strength she shared with those around her. Known for her selflessness and boundless love, Judy dedicated herself to her family and friends. She had a remarkable work ethic that spanned decades, including Pontiac Chair Company for 20 years, owning a tavern and finally retiring from Lowe’s in 2020 after 20-years of service. Judy’s impact touched the lives of many, both in her professional endeavors and through the countless friendships she formed along the way. A special woman in every way, never afraid to speak her mind and tell it how it is with a spirit of independence. She was proud of her family and her life. She adored being a grandmother and great-grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her grandkids. Judy loved golfing, enjoying margaritas, and spending time with her loved ones—always making sure to have fun along the way. Judy is preceded in death by her parents Letha and Mowbry James; sister, Jean Ann ; brother, John “Jack”; and her son, Joseph . She is survived by her daughter, Jan Bourg; granddaughters, Katelyn (Matthew) Hodges and Jodi Price ; grandson, Matthew Price; sister, Janet (Jim) Edinger; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Olivia, and Madilyn Hodges; Piper Reeder, Kaiden and Payton Price and many more family members and friends who loved her dearly. Her legacy will live on in the many hearts she touched, and her memory will be cherished forever. Services may occur at a later date at the immediate families discretion.
