Police: Warrant Being Sought for Man Suspected of Stabbing Woman in Adrian on Sunday

Adrian, MI – Police say that a woman is in “stable but critical condition” after being stabbed at a home in Adrian today at around noon. The Adrian Police Department says that they responded to the report of a stabbing at a home in the 600 block of S. Winter Street.

APS says that they discovered a woman had been stabbed multiple times, and the suspect had already fled the scene in a vehicle. The woman was transported to a hospital for treatment and is listed in “stable, but critical, condition.” The vehicle driven by the suspect was located and seized, but the suspect has not been located.

APD says that the suspect’s identity is known to law enforcement, and a warrant for his arrest is being sought. Adrian Police will not release his identify until he is arrested and arraigned in District Court.
