
Adrian, MI – 28-year-old Braxton Garza, from Adrian, was a hit on The Voice Monday night on NBC. The father of two young kids, Iyra and Russell, will be on Michael Bublé’s team after he blocked Kelsea Ballerini.
Garza told the story of his father passing away in 2020 after he contracted COVID. He said on the show, “The doctor told all of us my dad had less than a week to be here with us. One of the last things he told me was he didn’t want to be remembered by anything but how he loved. He was the most loving person I ever met.”
Garza performed “Pretty Little Poison” by Warren Zeiders for his Blind Audition. He now moves on to the Battle Round, which will air after the Blind Audition Round ends. There has not been a date announced for that round. Watch his performance below:
