Theresa S. Hudson, age 73, of Adrian, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Lenawee Medical Care Facility surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 10, 1951, in Grundy, VA, the only child of Shelton and Ida (St. Clair) Michael.
Theresa married Robert Hudson on April 4, 1969, in Holly, MI. Together they raised a family of four children and enjoyed over 55 years of making memories as husband and wife.
While primarily lovingly tending to the needs of her family as a homemaker, Theresa also worked for a time outside of the home as a clerical assistant for the former ProMedica Herrick Hospital in Tecumseh. In her free time, she loved to shop or employ her creative talent in making crafts. Above all, Theresa cherished the blessings of her grandchildren, and she especially enjoyed affectionately rocking them as babies.
In addition to her husband, Robert Sr., Theresa is survived by her mother, Ida Michael; three sons, Robert (Kristi) Hudson Jr, of Morenci, Michael (Kate) Hudson of Burke, VA and David (Kelly) Hudson of Concord, NC; one daughter, Kristine (Dan) Garcia of Fenton; 10 grandchildren, Daniel, Mariah, Viviana, Krystelle, Kyle, Brett, Grace, Gideon, Blake, and Harper; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Shelton Michael.
The Family will receive friends for visitation at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 3-7 p.m. A funeral service for Theresa will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 14, at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Greg Burdine officiating. Burial will follow at Lenawee County Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh.
