Adrian Twp., MI – A 50-year-old man was transported to a Toledo hospital via life-flight after a tree limb fell on him while cutting trees and limbs at Hills of Lenawee Golf Club.
Adrian Charter Township Fire Department Chief Tim Bartenslager told WLEN News that a limb fell and hit the man on the head. He was wearing a hard hat. The man was life-flighted to the hospital for what Chief Bartenslager called “multiple injuries.” He did not know the condition of the man as of Friday evening.
Bartenslager could not confirm whether the man was working for a tree service or not. The Hills of Lenawee Golf Club issued a statement Friday about the accident.
A post on the group’s social media page said that their hearts sincerely go out to those affected, and they “ask the community to join us in lifting them up during this difficult time.”
