Dover Twp., MI – The Lenawee County Office of Emergency Management issued an alert Friday morning for the one-mile radius of 5500 West Beecher Road for a gas leak as a result of a crash.
The Sheriff’s Office reported that a FedEx truck struck a pole and a gas line between Whig Highway and Sword Highway.
There was a shelter in place order issued for the surrounding area until the gas leak could be contained. The Lenawee County Office of Emergency Management said that the leak was contained and that the order was lifted early Friday afternoon.
