Manitou Beach, MI – The 73rd Annual Tip-Up Festival at Lenawee County’s Devils and Round Lake is scheduled to take place this weekend… from Friday through Sunday afternoon.
All events will take place as planned, except the Red Light Ride Friday night.
There will be a fishing contest at the Manitou Beach Marine Friday from Noon until 5pm, Saturday from 9am until 4pm, and Sunday from 9am until Noon. Prizes will be awarded Sunday at Noon sharp at the Manitou Beach Marina.
A poker run, from 11am until 3pm, will take place Saturday, February 8th beginning and ending at the Marina.
There will be snowmobile racing and radar run Saturday from 11am until 4pm. The famous outhouse races will begin at 4pm Saturday. There will also be a raffle and benefit auction Sunday at the Highland Inn. Tip-Up organizers say that proceeds will benefit community projects. These events at Tip-Up are sponsored by the Devils & Round Lake Men’s Club.
