
Lenawee County, MI – GreenStone Farm Credit Services will once again be awarding thousands of dollars in scholarships to incoming and current college students pursuing careers in agriculture, timber and natural resources.
GreenStone will award up to $40,000 in scholarships to incoming college freshmen in the amount of $2,000 each to selected students attending a four-year college program and $1,000 each to selected students attending a two-year college program.
The Dave Armstrong Scholarship Program, named after GreenStone’s former CEO, awards four current college students with a scholarship in the amount of $5,000 each.
Scholarship applicants must reside within GreenStone’s territory, which includes Michigan and select counties in northeast Wisconsin. Applicants must also plan to study in an agricultural-related field, achieve the required academic success and demonstrate leadership in their school, community and agricultural activities.
