Lenawee County, MI – WellWise Services Area Agency on Aging has announced the retirement of Chief Executive Officer Julie Wetherby, effective April 30th.
Wetherby has decided to step down from the role after over 17 years of service, including 10 years as CEO.
Wetherby has served as the President of the Area Agencies on Aging Association of Michigan, served on various non-profit boards, and advocated for the needs of older adults, adults with disabilities, and their caregivers both in Michigan and nationally in addition to her role as CEO.
WellWise Services Area Agency on Aging is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for older adults and individuals with disabilities and their caregivers. The agency provides a wide range of services designed to enhance independence and support community-based living in Hillsdale, Jackson, and Lenawee Counties.
