Adrian, MI – The Adrian City Commission discussed plans for the Fee House at 411 South Main Street, which has been deeded to the city. At the Commission’s Tuesday night meeting, commissioners held a work study session regarding the house, which was built in 1845, was formerly owned by the Fee family, and is located across from Fee Park.

City Administrator Greg Elliott noted that the building has sustained some water and cosmetic damage, but is structurally sound and is, “… a unique property with a unique history.”

While commissioners could not foresee any potential use the city might have for the property, they were in agreement that the building should be repaired before any potential sale.
