Lena Jean Douglas, age 77, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, at her home in Addison surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Tom and Ida (Hammill) Cousino.
Lena was a graduate of Onsted High School. After graduating she married the love of her life, Wayne K. Douglas on October 21, 1967. The two of them had 57 wonderful years together. Lena worked at the Post Office of Jackson as a clerk. She loved camping and playing games with family. She enjoyed bird watching, especially her favorite bird, the hummingbird. When Lena was home, she enjoyed relaxing with a good book.
Left to honor the memory of Lena is her husband, Wayne; son, Joseph (Kristi) Douglas; daughters, Tina Douglas, Dawn (Marvin) Elkins; brother, Phillip Cousino; 10 grandchildren, Jodi, Elizabeth, Jordan, Timothy, Austin, Jack, Alexxis, Jakob, Zoie, Mason and one great-grandchild, Derek. Preceding her in death are her parents and three sisters.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
