Judy Ann Taylor, age 83, passed away on January 19, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Kenneth and Leora (Ebbert) Wheaton on July 8, 1941.
After graduating high school, she went to work at Fayette Tublular for 35 years until they closed. When Judy wasn’t working, she enjoyed cooking and canning for and with her family. She loved cozying up with a good book or seeing what masterpiece she could create crafting. Most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Judy had a warm heart and an amazing sense of humor, she will be miss by all who knew her.
Left to cherish Judy’s memory are sons, Robert (Beverly) Taylor, Jr., Matthew Taylor; daughter, Rebecca (Burton) Johns; nine grandchildren, Casie (Chad), Nathan (Jammie), Britney, Kristjun (Sydney), Brandi, Cody, Brandon, Andrew, Connor; 16 great-grandchildren, Riley (Maya), Abby, Little Nathan, Emma, Keighyn, Kaedyn, Karter, Gage, Tucker, Lexi, Madelyn, Brayden, Hunter, Kalin, Kasen, Cash and sister, Julia (Earl) Evans. Preceding her in death are her husband, Robert D. Taylor, Sr.; grandson, Joey Baxter, Jr.; nephew, Earl “Punky” Evans, Jr., and her parents and grandparents Clarence and Minnie (Marks) Ebbert who raised her.
Judy’s funeral will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home, Hudson. The family will receive friends for visitation at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home, Hudson, on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. – 6 :00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
