David Edwin Towley Perry Jr., age 77, of Tecumseh, Michigan, passed away with his family by his side on January 15, 2025. David was born on December 5, 1947 in Coudersport, Pennsylvania. David spent his childhood in Pennsylvania, most of which was in North Huntington. After high school he went to Penn State University and married his high school sweetheart. David received his degree in Aerospace Engineering and spent most of his career in the field of Nuclear Energy. David and Evelyn moved their family to Michigan in 1977 for work. The family lived in the towns of Leslie, Midland and Mattawan before calling Tecumseh home. Later in his career, David traveled and lived abroad in the Philippines, India, England, and Singapore. But no matter where he was, he brought with him an unassuming presence. His “larger than life” experiences were always met with humility and a focus on what truly mattered. His family and church were of utmost importance in his life. He was always an integral member to every church with whom he was affiliated. David valued a Christian education for his children which meant he was active in many of the school functions. David had an unassuming nature despite his many life events. He survived a broken neck in a car accident, He worked with foreign governments assisting on their energy production. He slept through a terrorist attack in Mumbai, India and he had lunch with a president. But through it all, he put his family and God first. He is now finally in his new home in heaven with Evelyn (or Sunshine to him).
