Fred Earnest Pearsall, age 82, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025, and went to be with The Lord.   Born on April 19, 1942, in Milford, Michigan, Fred was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He spent his life dedicated to his faith, family, and community. Known for his kind heart and quirky sense of humor, Fred was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.  Fred attended Ferris State University and graduated in 1964. During his time there, he met the love of his life, Julie Ann Bowles. The two were married and shared a beautiful life together filled with love and devotion, until she passed away at the age of 35.  Fred worked for Manchester Tool and Die for most of his career, where he was known for his hard work and integrity. After retirement, he remained active in his community by continuing his service with the Gideons International, sharing his faith and helping distribute Bibles. He also lent a helping hand at Purse Funeral Home and enjoyed working with Gary Purse and his family.  A man of deep faith, Fred was an active member of his church, serving in various capacities over the years. As a Gideon, he was passionate about spreading the word of God, especially through his ministry at local jails, where he brought hope and faith to inmates.  In addition to his faith-based work, Fred loved being involved with the Overlanders. He took great joy in driving the bus for many of their trips, always eager to share in the fellowship and adventure.  Fred is survived by his two daughters, Peggy (Terry) McMunn and Penny (Jason) Myers. Fred was a proud grandfather to Samantha and Toni McMunn and a great-grandfather to five cherished great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Julie Ann Pearsall, his parents, Luther and Clara Pearsall, his in-laws, Bob and Aletza Bowles, and his wife, Marcia Jones.  Fred’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service at a later date. For those who would like to honor his memory, donations can be made to the Capital Area Humane Society in Lansing.  Fred Earnest Pearsall will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his unwavering faith, loving heart, and dedication to serving others.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
