Nito Ramos to Retire from Clinton Community Schools After 30 Years of Education, Coaching

Clinton, MI – After 30 years of service in education and coaching, Nito Ramos has announced his retirement from Clinton Community Schools, effective this Friday.

CCS says that Ramos has accepted a new opportunity as the Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach at Siena Heights University. Ramos began his coaching career in 1995, and has been a leader in various sports, with an especially notable career in golf.

His coaching achievements are numerous, including four MHSAA State Tournament appearances with his Boys Varsity Golf teams between 2016 and 2024… and his instrumental role in launching the Girls Varsity Golf Program, which qualified for the State Tournament twice.

Superintendent Kevin Beazley shared his appreciation for Mr. Ramos, saying, in part, “His commitment to our students’ growth, both in athletics and in the classroom, has had a profound impact. We are grateful for his service and wish him all the best as he transitions into this exciting new chapter at Siena Heights University.”

Beyond golf, Mr. Ramos has made an impact in a variety of sports, including basketball, baseball, softball, and football.
