Kevin Gerard Foss, age 67, of Fremont, IN, formerly of Morenci, passed away on January 8, 2025. Born in Toledo, Ohio on March 17, 1957, Kevin was a man whose presence was felt by all who knew him. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, known for his dry wit, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family.

Kevin is survived by his daughter, Molly (Rhett) Figley; sons Sean (Shannon) Smith and Kevin Foss (Lyndsey Pacer); and seven cherished grandchildren, Hailey, Gabriel, Natalie, Liam, Rogan, Eliza, and Ruby. He also leaves behind many adoring nieces; nephews; his sister-in-laws, Cathy Schroeder and Maureen Phelps; along with his brother-in-laws, Don Schroeder and Bob Phelps.

Kevin had a passion for life’s simple joys, including ice-cold Bud Lights and leisurely pontoon boat rides at Clear Lake, where he spent many happy hours with friends. He was a skilled chef, best known for his famous barbecue ribs and homemade spaghetti sauces, which he lovingly prepared for those lucky enough to share a meal with him.

A true friend to all, Kevin could strike up a conversation with anyone and leave them feeling like a lifelong friend. His sense of humor, often dry and always witty, was infectious, and he could brighten even the darkest days with his laughter.

Kevin was preceded in death by his beloved wife Barbara Foss, whom he married on January 15, 1987; his parents, Dr. Franklin and Marguerite Foss; his sister, Kathleen Snyder; and his brother-in-law, Morgan Smith. Kevin’s memory lives on in his family, his friends, and the countless moments of joy he brought to everyone who knew him. He will never be forgotten.
