
Lansing, MI – State Rep. Nancy Jenkins-Arno has taken her oath of office for her fourth non-consecutive term on Wednesday. Michigan’s 103rd legislative term, led by a Republican majority, began following the swearing-in ceremony.
Jenkins-Arno previously served the people of Lenawee County in the House of Representatives during her first three terms from 2011-2016, prior to the extension of term limits. In recent years, she served three terms as a Lenawee County Commissioner and as director of development for Hudson Area Schools District.
She now serves the people of the 34th House District which includes Adrian, Morenci and Tecumseh, Clayton, and Onsted as well as the townships of Adrian, Blissfield, Cambridge, Clinton, Dover, Fairfield, Franklin, Hudson, Madison, Medina, Ogden, Palmyra, Raisin, Riga, Rollin, Rome, Seneca, Tecumseh and Woodstock.
She was joined by her staff, husband, friends and family members for Wednesday’s ceremony.
The representative also announced the team members who will staff her Lansing office. Her legislative assistant, Mallory Murphy, will help address constituent concerns, while her legislative director, Josh Haley, will aide in policy matters. Rep.
