Kenneth J. Donaldson, age 85, of Hudson, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at home. He was born October 24, 1939, in Detroit, MI to Arthur G. and Velma R. (McCaskey) Donaldson. On August 2, 1969, Kenneth married Deborah Ames in Hudson, and she survives.
Kenneth proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from 1959 to 1962. He was a Corrections Officer with the Michigan Department of Corrections for 28 years prior to retiring in 2008. Kenneth was also an owner of the Pirates Cove in Addison from 1992 t0 2012.
In addition to his wife, Deborah, he is survived by a son, Kevin Donaldson; a grandson, Kole (Korinna) Donaldson; granddaughters Kendra JO and Kora Donaldson and several nieces and a nephew. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; his son Jon Donaldson; and one brother, Glenn Donaldson.
Funeral services for Kenneth will be held Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 4 p.m..
