Raul Ray Burciaga, age 64, of Adrian, MI, passed away, December 26, 2024, at home with his family. He was born March 21, 1960, in Adrian, MI, the son of Octaviano & Paula (Cavasos) Burciaga. On April 26, 1997, he married Dawn Horn, she survives. Raul was a graduate of Adrian High School. He then went on and obtained an Associate Degree. Raul wore many hats which included being a pastor, a special education teacher, disc jockey, nurses aid and one of the last Dial a Ride driver’s in Lenawee County. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. In addition to his wife Dawn Burciaga, he is survived by his children, Catalina Burciaga, Raul Ray (Shannon) Burciaga II, Justin (Florence) Keel, Garrett (Emily) Keel, Nysha Burciaga and Seth Burciaga; numerous grandchildren; his father, Octaviano (Alice) Burciaga; mother in law, Sharon Horn Lacey; two brothers, Steve (Ann) Burciaga and Joey (Regina) Burciaga; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Fred. He was preceded in death by his mother, and step father, Paula & Ron Smith; two brothers, Michael Burciaga and Denny Burciaga; and father in law, Art Horn. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Jerry Lacey officiating. Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
