Robert “Bob” Augustus Huntley, Jr. was born in Fort Benning, Georgia, on May 30, 1959 and passed away at the end of a long battle after having esophageal and stomach cancer on December 6, 2024, at the University of Michigan Hospital, at the age of 65.
Bob is survived by his wife, Ann; daughter, Angela (Clint) Moore; son, Bobby (Kaitlyn) Huntley; grandchildren, Ambriehl, Ethan, Zachary, Rowan, Reign, and Rhys; and great grandchild, Kairi.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert Augustus Huntley, Sr.
Bob worked in various jobs throughout his life. He worked in construction and concrete in his younger years and moved on to be a plant manager in various manufacturing establishments.
Bob was a Michigan man who loved Michigan Football. He also loved NHRA drag racing. He loved to spend time in the garage woodworking. Bob liked to fish and go camping when he could. He also had a passion for old muscle cars. His biggest passion was his family and spending time with them as much as he could.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time.
