Dori Lee Snow, age 63, of Tecumseh, MI, passed away at ProMedica Toledo Hospital on December 16, 2024. She was born on May 14, 1969 in St. Ignace, MI, to the late Roger Milton and Marlene Shirley (Hupala) Snow. On March 19, 2022, she was joined in marriage in Tecumseh, MI to Carrie Marie Farmer.
Dori was a dedicated Registered Nurse for forty years, serving the last thirty-four years in the acute care area at St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. She always made it a point to take the best care of her patients and go over and above for them. She treated all living things with compassion and respect, whether it was her patients or animals, which she also loved dearly. When she wasn’t serving as a nurse, she enjoyed being outside working in her yard, which she kept immaculate, tending to her pets, making crafts and enjoying her knack for woodworking. Dori’s selflessness and kindness touched countless lives, leaving a legacy of love and generosity. This was exemplified by her final act of donating her organs, saving the lives of three other people.
Dori is survived by her spouse, Carrie, her twin sister, Lori (Mark) Prinz of Ypsilanti, MI, and her other sister Sandra Snow of Michigan; two nephews, Joshua and Erik Prinz, of Ypsilanti, MI; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
According to Dori’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Memorial contributions in honor of Dori may be made to any Humane Society.
