
Jackie Faye Dyke, age 74, of Tecumseh, MI, passed away at her home on Sunday, December 8, 2024, under the loving care of Hospice of Lenawee. She was born on March 8, 1950, in Adrian, MI, the daughter of the late Leo Rex and Lilly Agnes (Tate) Handy.
In addition to her factory work, Jackie thoroughly enjoyed spending time working in her yard as well as with her family. She loved eating at the Big Boy restaurant, and was a strong supporter of donating to various organizations, particularly Hospice of Lenawee and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Jackie is survived by her children, Tina (Jonathan) Marlow of Maryville, TN, Cathy (Rodney) Pierce of Lasalle, MI, and Charley Dyke, of Monroe, MI; her siblings, Brenda Livernois of Monroe, MI, Larry (Alice) Handy of Tecumseh, MI, Cathy (Gary) Kershner of Adrian, MI, James Handy of Manitou Beach, MI, Roger (Gloria) Handy of Tecumseh, MI, Ray (Liz) Handy of Tecumseh, MI, and Sherry Palmer of Ypsilanti, MI; three grandchildren, Marcus (Daphne) Alston of Pinson, AL, McKenzie (Austin) Smith of Maryville, TN, and Jordan Marlow of Maryville, TN; seven grandchildren, Braxton, Knox, Waylon, Cullen, Nova, Damian, and Stevie; and her special dog, Precious.
In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by a grandchild, Justin Alston.
Visitation for Jackie will be from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes. Funeral services officiated by Chaplain Chris Brundage will follow at 1:00 pm, with burial to follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Tecumseh, MI. Memorial contributions in honor of Jackie may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.
