Joe Edward Griffin, former resident of Woodhaven, Michigan went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at the age of 65, surrounded by family and friend. He was preceded in death by parents, Almon Griffin, of Sparta Tennesse, Mary Frances Griffin of Adrian, MI, Sister Yuvema Gayle Henstock (Steve) of Lansing, Michigan. He is survived by his sisters, Lynda Griffin-Ridgeway (Terry) of Hazel Park, Michigan, Devetta Griffin-Keller (John) of Milan, Michigan and Daisy Griffin of Adrian, Michigan, as well as many nephews and nieces. Joe was a kind compassionate soul who had a deep love of animals, especially dogs and cats. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, such as listening to classic rock music as well as country music. He also enjoyed fishing with his good friend Rick. One of Joe’s favorite stories to tell was about the time he met Alan Jackson while fishing with friends in Tennessee.
