
Ida, MI – The 42nd Annual Christmas in Ida Festival opens its doors to the world on Thursday, December 5th, with an exciting weekend festival featuring star-studded concerts, craft and vendor shows, children’s activities and the Christmas in Ida Parade of Lights.
Celebrating over four decades of wholesome family entertainment, the La-Z-Boy Christmas in Ida Family Concert Series is free and features five concerts throughout the weekend festival headlined by country star Chayce Beckham performing his greatest hits and opening with Ian Harrison performing a high energy young country concert.
Other concerts include Siberian Solstice performing Trans-Siberian music, the Commemorative Concert featuring Adrian College Choir and Woman’s A Capella Ensemble, and the Jingle Bell Rockout! Concert.
Festival events include a high-flying BMX show, four craft and vendor shows, Santa’s Zoo, carriage rides, ice sculpting, wood carving, a new merchandise benefit auction, Art on the Avenue, Children’s Lunch with Santa, the Holiday Hounds on Parade and helicopter rides.
Christmas in Ida reaches its climax on Saturday evening with a fireworks display, followed by the largest parade of lights in the Midwest, featuring over 120 illuminated and animated parade entries that light up the entire village for nearly two hours.
The festival features food vendors throughout the village serving American, German, Italian, Mexican, and Polish foods.
