C. Edgar Keefer, age 90, of Fayette, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold. He was born on October 21, 1934, in Wauseon to the late Ellis J. and Alice L. (Altman) Keefer. After graduating from Chesterfield High School in 1952, Edgar dedicated his life to farming.
On September 11, 1954, Edgar married the love of his life, Janice Audrey Colon. They raised a family of three children and celebrated over 64 wonderful years together before her passing on April 1, 2019.
In his free time, Edgar enjoyed camping, photography, and riding the motorcycle with his wife. Above all, Edgar loved spending time with his family, but especially at Christmas time.
To cherish his memory, Edgar leaves his children, Kim (Bob) Harmon, Karen (Ken) Pfeifer, and Bartley (Kay) Keefer; seven grandchildren: Chris, Shane, Kyra, Katie, Lacey, Eric, and Luke; 12 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Janice, Edgar is preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel, and a sister, Jane.
