Ridgeway Twp., MI – The Canadian-Pacific Kansas City Holiday Train rolled through Lenawee County early Tuesday morning. The lighted train travels throughout the United States…with a second one moving through Canada.
Each year, the Holiday Trains travel across CPKC’s network… raising donations to help people struggling with food insecurity. The train makes several stops to collect funds and food during concerts along their route.
CPKC says that since 1999, more than $24.3 million and over 5.3 million pounds of food for community food banks have been collected in Canada and the U.S. A video of the Holiday Train traveling through Lenawee County can be viewed on WLEN’s Facebook page.
