Man Shot & Killed by Law Enforcement After Chase in Jackson Identified as Onsted Man

Franklin Twp., MI – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the name of the Lenawee County man killed in a police-involved shooting in the City of Jackson that stemmed from a domestic violence incident in Franklin Township earlier this month. Sheriff Gary Schuette told WLEN News in an email that the deceased shooting victim was 31-year-old Jacob Austin Hikes, of Onsted.
