Adrian, MI – Lenawee County is joining counties across the nation in launching Operation Green Light for Veterans, an initiative designed to shine a light on the service of veterans and their families. As part of Operation Green Light for Veterans, Lenawee County is illuminating the dome inside the Old Court House green beginning today, November 4th.

The County encourages individuals and businesses to join by changing one light bulb in the entryway of their house or business to a green bulb. Now in its third year, Operation Green Light is spearheaded by the National Association of Counties and the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers.

In 2023, over 300 counties participated in Operation Green Light, including Lenawee County. By shining a green light, the county aims to let veterans know that they are seen, appreciated and supported.
