
Adrian, MI – City of Adrian fall yard waste collection will take place beginning Wednesday, November 6th, and will continue through Wednesday, December 4th, with the exception of Wednesday, November 27th.
The City will collect yard waste and bundled branches/brush throughout the city limits. Yard waste and bundled branches/brush must be placed at the curb no later than 7 AM on Wednesday mornings.
All yard waste shall be placed in biodegradable and/or compostable paper bags and must not weigh more than fifty pounds. Unapproved containers, including plastic bags, will not be picked up for collection.
Bundled branches and brush must be tied in bundles no longer than three feet, weighing less than fifty pounds, and placed parallel with the curb. A compost site is located off of Oakwood Avenue just past the cemetery, and will be open on Tuesdays from 12 PM through 7 PM and Saturdays from 8 AM through 2 PM until December 7th.
The compost site will be closed on November 30th, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. All yard waste deposited at the compost site in anything other than biodegradable and/or compostable paper bags must be removed from the bag or container.
