Chelsea, MI – The City of Chelsea was awarded a $130,571 grant for sidewalk improvements. State Representative Kathy Schmaltz recently helped present the city with the grant from the Southeast Council of Michigan Governments.
The grant will fund new ADA-accessible crosswalks near the corner of Freer Road and Darwin Drive. For more information about the Southeast Council of Michigan Government’s Transportation Alternatives Program, visit their website.
