Ruth Ann (Cunningham) Evans, age 87 of Adrian, MI, formerly of Blissfield and Hudson, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2024 at ProMedica Hickman Hospital in Adrian. She was born to Ronald and Alberta (Cornell) Cunningham on April 26, 1937 in Wheatland Township, Hillsdale County, Michigan.
Ruth married Jim Rose and they had three boys together, Rick, Doug and Randy. Ruth later married Earl Nine who was the love of her life. Her eternal resting place will be beside Earl. Ruth worked for Wacker Chemical Corporation in Adrian for many years before her retirement. She had a deep love for her dogs Rascal and Bella. Ruth was so proud of her boys and loved them beyond measure.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Rick (Joy) Rose; grandchildren, Chris (Amanda) Rose, Daniel (Melanie) Rose, Katie (Dustin) Blonde, Matt Rose and Jason Rose; great grandchildren, Jake, Chase, Bryce and Legend; her brother, Richard Cunningham and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Nine; her sons, Randy Rose and Douglas Rose, her parents; her sisters, Luella (Gene) Hepker, Karen Bloomer and Beatrice Rose; her brothers, Ron Cunningham and David Cunningham; and a niece Kathy Hepker.
Funeral Services for Ruth will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson with Pastor Brian Comiskey officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
