Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Continuum of Care will present the 2024 Norma Dell Courage to Care Award to Dawn Finney as part of Homeless Awareness Month.
The Norma Dell Courage to Care award recognizes the efforts of an individual, couple or agency who has made extraordinary contributions toward fighting homelessness in Lenawee County.
Dawn was nominated because she has led and organized numerous initiatives aimed at providing essential care to the unhoused, including the collection and distribution of hygiene, warming, and hydration kits.
She has also taken the lead in assembling and distributing emergency shelter kits.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend the event, which will take place on November 12, at 3:30pm at the Goodwill Headquarters located in Adrian.
