Adrian, MI – The Mayor of Adrian Angie Heath issued a proclamation at Monday’s City Commission meeting congratulating the Adrian Police Department for coming in first in the Michigan State Police Pistol Match.
Mayor Heath mentioned in her statement that the department had entered four teams in the competition, with two of the teams taking home first and second place, respectively.
Chief of Police Vince Emrick was at the meeting to make additional remarks; he said that this was the eighth year in a row that the department has won, for their department size, and brought with him two plaques from previous years to show their prolonged success in the competition.
Emrick concluded by saying all of his officers were proud to be involved.
