Hudson Fire Department Issues Burn Ban

Hudson, MI – Hudson Fire Department has issued a ban on open burning in their fire districts. The department is advising that there should be no burning of any materials on the ground or in burning barrels or pits in the following areas: City of Hudson, Hudson Township, Medina Township and Pittsford Township.

The Hudson Fire Department says that conditions are extremely dry in most of Southern Michigan, with no expected rainfall for several days. HFD says that they will evaluate conditions in a week and decide on continuing or lifting the burn ban.
