
Williams County, OH – Two Ohio residents sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash over the weekend. The Defiance Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred at around 5pm Saturday on US 127 in Williams County.
A 46-year-old male from Convoy, Ohio was driving a 2023 Hyundai Tucson southbound on US 127 with a passenger, a 53-year-old female…also of Convoy. An 18-year-old female of Montpelier, Ohio was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu eastbound on County Road I.50. The post says that the female failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection and was struck by the Hyundai. Both vehicles traveled off the eastside of US 127.
All three involved were transported by Williams County EMS to Bryan Hospital initially. The male from Convoy, and the female from Montpelier were later transported via Life Flight to Fort Wayne, Indiana, with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
