Larry D. Bush, age 74, of Britton, Michigan, passed away October 5, 2024.
He was born August 28, 1950, in Tecumseh, MI, the son of Lee Robert and Myra Jean (Osterhout) Bush. On October 23, 1970, he married Mary Ann Hyland in Britton, MI and she survives.
Larry was a graduate of Britton-Macon High School, Class of 1968. He was a member of Ridgeway Church the Nazarene where he served faithfully for many years. Larry was a lifelong farmer, owner and operator of Bush Farms. He was School Board President of Britton-Macon School District for 8 years. Larry also served on Macon Township Board of Review and Ridgeway Church of the Nazarene Board for many years. Outside of his community, his family was his pride and joy.
In addition to his wife, Mary Ann, he is survived by three children, Michele (Mark) Burns,
Mindy (Jason) Jordan, and Kevin (Kelly) Bush; five grandchildren, Zachary (Nicole Derderian) Bearinger, Taylor (Keegan) Miller, Riley Jordan, Bryce Jordan, and Keegan Bush; and one great grandchild on the way; and two sisters, Laura (Roy) Donko, and Linda (Dave) Stretch.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lynn Bush.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Ridgeway Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Kyle Boils and Rev. Ray Hansen officiating.
Interment will follow at Macon Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Purse & Son Funeral Home, Tecumseh, MI, and again on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral servic at the church.
Memorial donations may be directed to Ridgeway Church of the Nazarene.
