Morenci, MI – Some Lenawee County Fire Departments have issued burn bans, as part of the county is still experiencing drought-like conditions.
The Palmyra Township Fire Department issued a burn ban…effective beginning today. The Morenci Fire Department issued a burn ban for the City…also Seneca, Medina, and Chesterfield…Ohio… Townships.
The U.S. Drought Monitor shows all of Lenawee County is currently under abnormally dry, or moderate drought, conditions.
