Sand Creek Resident to Collect Supplies for Tennessee Flood Victims Thursday

Adrian, MI – A collection for flood victims in Newport, Tennessee is being conducted this Thursday in Adrian. Jim Black of Sand Creek will be making the trip. Black collected water during the Flint water crisis and is now wanting to help flood victims in Newport, Tennessee.

Black stated that he has been in touch with officials in Tennessee and right now they are asking for hygiene products, dog and cat food as well as kitty litter. He will be taking donations tomorrow, October 3rd, from 8am until 5pm or until the trailer is full at the Southland Plaza across from Clift Buick-GMC on South Main Street.

Black will be leaving for Newport, Tennessee on Friday at approximately noon to deliver the donations.
