BRIAN D. SHELLE, age 66 years of Hudson, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 26, 1958, in Hudson, the son of Norbert and Mary (Kingsley) Shelle. Brian graduated from Hudson High School in 1976.
Brian was a hard worker. He was employed at RIMA Manufacturing in Hudson for 19 years before he went to Health Specialist of Lenawee in Tecumseh to be their maintenance manager for 19 years before retiring in 2005. Brian was an avid golfer, fisherman and Michigan State sports fan. He liked working on cars, spending time with his family and his favorite was the role of grandpa to 12 precious grandchildren. He truly loved his family and he will be missed by all who knew him.
Brian is survived by his four children, Bradford (Kristen) Shelle, Jason (Lynn) Shelle, Amanda Shelle and Adam (Ashley) Shelle; 12 grandchildren, Avery, Parker, Liam, Kaiden, Braxton, Azanna, Maxwell, Jackson, Nathan, Archer, Maya and Briar; ten siblings, Shirley (Tom) Taylor, Phyllis (Edward) St. John, Mary Lou Baglia, John (Pam) Shelle, Marcella (Pat) Brogan, Margaret (Jim) Rodesiler, Virginia (Gary) Lorenz, Theresa Stuckey, Dennis (Denise) Shelle and Joseph (Billinda) Shelle; brother-in-law, Walt Foreman, the mother of his children, Cynthia Lambka; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Carol Foreman, Nancy Shelle and Annette Shelle; sister-in-law, Ellen Mooney; and brother-in-law, Sam Stuckey.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 4-7 P.M. on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Lenawee County.
